Indonesian Studies Program
Established in 2008, the UCLA Indonesian Studies Program has coordinated many public events, provided research fellowships and travel grants to over 50 UCLA students, organized conferences and workshops, hosted visiting scholars, and supported the Advanced Indonesian Abroad Program (2012-2016).
Program for Early Modern Southeast Asia
The Program for Early Modern Southeast Asia, funded by the Henry Luce Foundation, is an interdisciplinary research program that supports undergraduate and graduate student training, annual interdisciplinary workshops and field schools, community engagement, and logistical support for studies on Early Modern Period Southeast Asia.
CSEAS Colloquia, Speaker Series and Conferences
UCLA CSEAS organizes academic programs about the region as part of our commitment to public and community outreach and collaboration. We coordinate a wide range of events such as a regular colloquia series, panels, speaker series, and conferences featuring prominent speakers and scholars from across the globe.
Graduate Education and Training in Southeast Asian Studies Consortium
The Graduate Education and Training in Southeast Asian Studies Consortium was formed with funding from the Luce Foundation with the mission of enhancing graduate education in Southeast Asian studies across North America through innovation and collaboration.
UC/CSU Network for Southeast Asian Studies
The UCB-UCLA National Resource Center consortium aims to build an informal network of SEAS scholars in California by developing new linkages with SEAS faculty and graduate students within the University of California and California State University systems through faculty exchanges, graduate student workshops and conferences.
