Jennifer Ching grew up in Singapore and China, but is originally from Hong Kong. She is currently the Program Assistant for the Burkle Global Impact Initiative (BGI) at the Burkle Center. She received a B.A. in International Relations and Mass Communication from UCLA in 2012, and was previously an Editor for The Generation – a student-run online foreign affairs journal sponsored by the Burkle Center. Jennifer also volunteers as the Director of External Affairs for Swipes for the Homeless, a nation-wide non-profit organization that transfers students' leftover meal swipes into non-perishable goods that are delivered to homeless shelters. Her passions are journalism, international relations, and the environment, with a special interest in news media, humanitarian work, and international diplomacy. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, going to the beach, snowboarding, and yoga.
